Andrew Kilham presented with NZ Service Award

Statement from VNZ:

Andrew Kilham is relentless in his passion and contribution towards the sport of volleyball, not just for his School, the region but also for New Zealand. He is completely dedicated to the sport and, supporting youth on their journey to discover volleyball as a game for life. He has a high degree of integrity, work ethic with attention to detail and a huge understanding of what is required in the delivery of volleyball in the Waikato region and for Volleyball New Zealand. Andrew puts 100% of his time, knowledge and ability towards his coaching no matter what the level (beginner, developer or performance). And this has not waivered over the past 20 + years.

He has been a member of the WRVA Exec since its inception in 2000, and was involved in organising interschool volleyball for some years before the Association was formed.

He has been the Secretary of the Exec continuously since approx. 2007

He has coached Waikato IPC teams, every year since 1999.
He has supported Hamilton Volleyball club as both a coach and selector since early 2000’s.

He has coached numerous New Zealand Youth and Junior sides including the current head coach of the NZ Junior Women’s programme.
