The Waikato Junior Championships is the premier competition in the Waikato. There are several divisions to cater for all skill levels and is used as seeding that leads into the North Island tournament.

The season starts in Week 10 of Term 3 and finishes in mid-Term 4.

Battle against the top secondary school teams from around the North Island. Seedings for the North Island Championships is done through competing in the Junior Championships.

The 4-Day tournament is held in November.

Battle it out against the top senior teams from around the Waikato Region for the regional title. This is the seeding competition for the Senior National Championships.

The Senior Championships is held in early Term 1 for 5 weeks total.

The New Zealand Senior Secondary School Championships is the pinnacle of school volleyball with the top NZ schools battling it out in March for the National Championships.

The 5-Day tournament is held around late-March to early-April.

A fun focused league for our Primary and Intermediate aspiring volleyballers to play against other schools.

The Kiwivolley League runs for 4 weeks from Week 7 of every school term.

Schools from the King Country, Waitomo District and Waipa come together to battle it out for the chance to take home the trophy. There are two grades, mixed junior and mixed seniors.

The 1-Day tournament is held in early Term 3.

Schools from across the South Waikato, Waipa and Matamata District come together to battle it out in a 1-day tournament at the South Waikato Events Centre in Tokoroa.

The tournament is usually held in mid-late Term 3.

In 2024, Waikato will be holding a 1-day tournament for secondary school students to determine seedings at NZSS Beach Volleyball Champs held at the end of January.

The Schools Beach season runs from late-Term 4 to Term 1.
