REFEREE DEVELOPMENT
Volleyball Waikato runs many referee courses throughout the year. This includes the Senior Schools Referee Course in Term 1, Regional Courses in Terms 2 and 3 for the Club and IPC season, and the Junior Referee Course in late Term 3 for the Waikato Junior Championships.
As part of our goal to improve the level of refereeing in our region, it is now a requirement for all teams playing in Premier Division of the Waikato Junior and Senior Championships to provide qualified referees.
The referee courses will be run by Federation-qualified referee Brieana Booth alongside our Development Manager Seth Phork.
