UOW Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship Opens

Applications for the University of Waikato High Performance Athlete Scholarship 2025 are now open. The closing date is 31 January 2025.

This scholarship is open to domestic school leavers and returning students who will be competing in a high-performance sport to a regional or national level, and who will be enrolling in an undergraduate degree at the University of Waikato. Previous recipients may reapply, but only if they met all ongoing eligibility maintenance requirements during their previous scholarship tenure. The scholarship offered is up to $7,000 towards accommodation or tuition fees in 2025.

It should be noted that students are unable to hold this scholarship concurrently with one of our school leaver scholarships, or the HPSNZ Prime Ministers Scholarship. All applicants are encouraged to read the regulations, which are attached.
