Jaxon Stone (Hillcrest HS) awarded Senior Referee of the Year.

Volleyball Waikato wishes to congratulate Jaxon Stone of Hillcrest High School for being named the 2024 Senior Referee of the Year.

Jaxon completed his Regional referee qualification and has been listed as a National candidate and will strive to gain the qualification this year.

Earlier in the term we ran the senior referee course with 57 people in attendance. We also implemented scoresheets and rotations in this season’s Senior Championship and we thank all coaches and players for their efforts this season. It’s been awesome to see the development of refereeing in our region.
